Summer Camp season is quickly approaching, and according to the CDC, in order to protect your camp attendees, you are going to have to use multiple, layered prevention strategies to open safely for in-person activities.

If you want your kids to return to camp safely with a sense of normalcy, while following the recommendations of the top experts in the country, then we have the solution for you. We have the testing technology, software and expertise you need to get back to having fun.

Last summer, more than 80% of camps closed for the season due to COVID-19 concerns, which was devastating to the camp industry. This summer, camps have more confidence they can open safely because testing is much more readily available. However, the time and expertise it takes to plan and execute a seamless return-to-camp experience can be overwhelming.

We believe that no kid should have to worry about a pandemic while they are at camp, which is an experience that is meant to be formative, educational and enjoyable. We also believe our camp nurses, directors and counselors should feel confident as leaders in providing a safe camp experience. There is so much that goes into this position, so having a testing strategy implemented will only benefit all parties involved.

Having helped >500 schools stay open in the past 9 months, Meenta has teamed up with Mirimus Clinical Labs to offer you a complete return-to camp plan in accordance with CDC recommendations using our proprietary software.

Camp Testing Protocols with Meenta

Our recommendation for staff:

  • Pre-camp testing within 3 days before arrival.
  • All campers should be provided a rapid test as they check in to camp.
  • Weekly testing of all unvaccinated staff that regularly interact across groups of students.
  • Post-camp testing of all unvaccinated staff 3–5 days after leaving camp.

Our recommendation for students:

  • Pre-camp testing within 3 days before arrival.
  • All campers should be provided a rapid test as they check in to camp.
  • Post-camp testing of all unvaccinated attendees 3–5 days after leaving camp.
